Mars is a friend of Bucky's who likes to collect and sell interesting rocks. Bucky had purchased one of these rocks and showed it to Rob, who thought Bucky was trying to say it was from the planet Mars.

Brother Fax is an evangelist for Felinism. Bucky brings him back to the apartment as he wants to have a word with Rob. Rob is reluctant to answer Brother Fax's query as to what religion Rob is but Bucky interjects to say that Rob is a "Googlist". Brother Fax leaves a book for Rob to look over and when Rob picks it up he sees it is called "Garfield Gains Salvation".

Satchel explained; “Well, to be fair, Mittens was 20 years old, declawed, and toothless...but yeah...yeah, I think technically Bucky won when Mittens fell asleep.”
